"I found you by the side of the road in the middle of nowhere."
—Lt. Sherman trying to talk to Jodie

Lt. J. Sherman is a minor character in Beyond: Two Souls.

Character InformationEdit

Sherman was born on February 16, 1978.

He unsuccessfully interviews Jodie Holmes in the footage debuted at 2012's E3. After Sherman fails to convince Jodie to speak, a group of men in urban camouflage carrying weapons and wearing body armor labeled S.W.A.T. enter the building. They deploy while their leader silences Sherman. He than has the Lieutenant open the door to the office where Jodie is waiting.

Nathan Dawkins arrives at the station to find it a wreck, with the S.W.A.T. team lying dead on the floor, and Sherman still standing unharmed in the center of the room in shock.

  • Sherman is played by David Gasman, a longtime Quantic Dream collaborator. Gasman voiced Kay'l 669 for Omikron: The Nomad Soul, voiced Tyler and Lucas Kane for Fahrenheit, and provided the voice and motion capture for Paco from Heavy Rain, as well as the voices of Hassan and Mad Jack.
  • Sherman's badge number is 420, possibly an unintentional mention to marijuana.
  • He strongly resembles Carter Blake from Heavy Rain.
  • Sherman's actor/voice actor also played/dubbed the Police Officer 0617 in the new video game entitled Detroit: Become Human.
